Business client agreement

Lou-Re Client Agreement

The practical agreement every business accepts before activating Lou-Re for its phone calls.

Effective August 20, 2026. This operational policy is intended for attorney review before full commercial launch.

1. The agreement

This agreement is between Lou-Re and the business account holder. By creating an account, activating a receptionist, or using the service, the account holder confirms that they are at least 18 and authorized to act for the business.

2. What Lou-Re does

Lou-Re provides an AI receptionist that can answer incoming calls, follow the business's approved instructions, capture selected caller information, create reports, and use enabled calendar or calling features. It is an automated service, not an employee, lawyer, accountant, emergency dispatcher, or guarantee of a business result.

3. Business responsibilities

The business must keep its services, prices, hours, policies, phone forwarding, calendar, transfer contacts, and receptionist instructions accurate. The business is responsible for reviewing its setup, testing the receptionist before relying on it, and maintaining a backup contact method for urgent matters.

4. Calls, consent, and customer information

The business authorizes Lou-Re to process call information only to operate the receptionist for that business. The business must have a lawful basis to collect the information it asks callers for and must not use Lou-Re to collect passwords, full payment-card or bank details, government identification numbers, detailed medical information, or other unnecessary sensitive data.

For outbound calls, the business must contact only existing customers or people who directly requested or lawfully consented to the contact. It must honor opt-outs, avoid purchased or scraped lists, use truthful reasons for the call, and follow the rules that apply where the business and recipient are located.

5. AI disclosure and restricted uses

The business may not remove or hide Lou-Re's AI and transcription notice. Lou-Re may not be used for emergency dispatch, harassment, deception, impersonation, unlawful telemarketing, debt collection, discriminatory decisions, medical advice, legal advice, tax advice, or any regulated workflow unless Lou-Re approves it in writing.

6. Phone numbers and service control

A Lou-Re-managed number is assigned and controlled by Lou-Re while the service is active. A business may forward its existing number to the assigned Lou-Re number. Lou-Re may suspend the receptionist or release a managed number when service is canceled, minutes are exhausted, payment fails, required information is missing, or use violates this agreement.

7. Data, reports, and privacy

The business owns its business instructions and may review its reports through the portal. Lou-Re processes account, configuration, and caller information to operate and secure the service. The business must only add information it is entitled to use. Privacy requests can be made through the privacy request form.

8. Pilot service, fees, and changes

Lou-Re is currently offered as a pilot. Any free trial, price, minute package, or future paid feature will be shown before activation. Lou-Re may change or suspend pilot features to protect users, callers, providers, or the platform. Paid launch terms, business entity details, and governing-law provisions will be finalized before general paid release.

9. Agreement acceptance

Accepting this agreement also confirms acceptance of the Terms of Service, Privacy Notice, and AI Call and Transcription Notice. If the business does not agree, it must not activate or use Lou-Re.
